Not the best but maybe the most even in a while.

Last years Heavy weights were pretty evenly matched. No superstars but some quality wrestlers. Of the top 5 placers they were an impressive 205-12. Of the 12 loses all 12 were only to state placers. 8 of those matches were decided by 1pt or went to overtime.

5 of 6 placers are going on to wrestle in college. (1 choosing football instead) Castillo, Tetlow and Norris were also tough and may have placed with the right spot in the bracket.

Jeremy is not playing football this year; he's going to stay in shape by running cross country. Since my younger, nonwrestler son will be running x-country at Alleman this year, I will get to see Jeremy run several times this fall. I can't wait to see the looks on the other schools' faces at the first meet on the 1st when the Moline team gets to the starting gate and there's a 260-280 pound kid lined up for the Maroons.
