LOL.

it was followed by "ok - not that,"...meaning it wasn't that specific minor example - then got into some real bigger reasons, not to mention being in Providence and Sandburg and Lemont's back yards. One thing that bothers me more than wrestlers continue to go for the legs when the their stalling, spralling, off balance opponent is handing them a throw is things that are boring. I am shocked to hear OPRF and Sandburg have been good the last 10 years? I thought that has been pretty heavily covered and didn't seem the point of the post topic. Yawn.
There are two guys in that zebra costume! Very funny...

OPRF legit fiduciary policing of residence ?

Bottom-line legit ,resident kids being bumped out of starting positions by " illegals" or not ???? and at local tax payer expense ? Also, can a math or science wiz kid register from out of district so one-play-all- play & not just jocks ? No rocket science to verify at 16 with drivers license as last resort , better check of registrations with quality associations since they started wrestling in grammar school and where they say they live in summer tournaments up to Fargo ! Enough is it true or not ? Time for IHSA to not be complicite with our tax dollars and their fiduciary obligations.

Hope it's not too late to address the original topic of conversation!

Washington has to be one of the headliners of this list, if we're not just talking 3A schools. There are not a lot of things worth remembering about Washington wrestling 10 years ago, and now they are phenomenal. Major kudos to them!

P.S. RECRUITS AND TRANSFERS PROPERTY TAXES HOME GROWN RESIDENCY RABBLE RABBLE!!

                    This is ridiculous

Bottom line is that nothing that OPRF or any of these other schools are doing is illegal (if its was we would know by now, trust me, there are enough people investigating them). So, if you would like your program to be getting these "move ins" every year, GET YOUR PROGRAM GOOD ENOUGH TO WHERE KIDS WANT TO MOVE THERE. I gaurantee you don't see teams like Lyons, Deerfield, Lockport, ect. whining about how these powerhouses are "unfair. No, they are training to BEAT the powerhouses and BECOME a powerhouse themselves, so that kids want to move to their school. It's the parents who are so self-absorbed that they need to make these excuses in order to feel better about their kids team.

If a program is good enough and built well enough, good wrestlers will come to you LEGALLY. BOTTOM LINE.

I'm not sure I would go all bold caps and all.

This is exhibit A, and it took two seconds of internet searching to find. I'm willing to bet there are dozens and dozens of cases just like this going on all the time that are sometimes found out about, and sometime not.

It's just the parents because, as we all know, Kids make the decisions not the parents. Kids are going to keep moving to Oak Park regardless of what their parents think. Parents just need to learn to deal with it and stop whining. Only dumb parents allow their kids to go to school anywhere other then Oak Park. It's selfish. We are talking about some of the greatest wrestling coaches in the history of man. How can you call yourself a good parent when you allow your kids to wrestle at such poorly coached programs as Lyons, Deerfield, Lockport, Conant, etc.

Assembly of Dust is from Lyons and he complains all the time and Lockport has been complaining for years. They just decided to join the game instead of continuing to figh it.

                            LWC?

Washington has to be considered, as does Lincoln-Way Central. I know they're a bit down this year, but they made the state quarterfinals three straight years in a pretty tough sectional. DePolo and Co. have done a nice job righting that ship.

Everyone is naming powerhouses. When I think of biggest strides, I think of teams that started in the middle or bottom and are working their way to the top.

Using the criteria of biggest strides, for 3A

                              1. Marmion
                              2. Oak Park
                              3. Deerfield
                              4. Stevenson

I think I would have to agree with Marmion. Did they even have a program 10 years ago??
