Does anyone have an update on what is going on with the team scoring?

I just left there after an hour of waiting around. There is a scoring discrepancy, trackwrestling has Deerfield up by 1 but there's an issue somewhere along the line with the scoring

Looks like Deerfield edged Stevenson 164-163

          Scoring Discrepancies with Track

Track confirmed with me around 11 AM that their system was scoring brackets with 9 wrestlers as an 8-man bracket. Per the IHSA Terms & Conditions, 9-man brackets must score as a 16-man bracket, in accordance with NFHS rules of scoring and the power of two rule. They were still working to correct the error as of 3:00. At Deerfield, 152 & 182 are the brackets in question. Quarterfinal winners should have had advancement and bonus points doubled.

The guys at the head table at Deerfield are on top of it. I'm confident they'll get it figured out. They've been in contact with the IHSA throughout the afternoon, who are aware of the issue.

Love it. What a battle. I knew that was going to be a close one. I haven't checked the final yet but Prospect and Conant were in a barn burner as well.

Does anybody know who was in these Deerfield challenge matches that have been mentioned? I assume 106 and 120 but any more?

Reece Heller beat Utterback at 106, Aaron Brailov beat Kyle Clough at 120 from what I understand. Two returning state qualifiers didn't make the cut for regionals, brutal for the two kids.

Heller and Utterback were pretty close in ability. The surprise for me was Brailov over Clough. Clough has always impressed me. The improvement in Brailov this year must have been dramatic.
