    RULES
***Modified National Federation Rules—Folkstyle Due to time constraints, we will NOT be using the "new" overtime rules implemented for High Schools in the 2006-07 season. Any matches that go into overtime will use the "old" rules: 1-minute sudden victory overtime, if no score, followed by 30 second ultimate tiebreaker ride out (first to score in regulation gets choice, UCM supersedes first points scored. If no points were scored in regulation a coin flip will decide choice.)
***NEW NFHS rule- “Out of Bounds” for back points, falls, takedowns, or loss of control APPLY ONLY for HS Division
****8th grade and below will follow the “old” NHFS rules regarding out of bounds, near fall, and fall.
    Mouth guard
Mouth guards are NOT mandatory (this includes individuals with braces).
    REST TIME
The minimum rest time between matches is 15 minutes.
