  • IRONMAN - Thread

Hope Illinois teams come to scrap! Every year this tournament is loaded with talent, but wow this year is great!

Here are my confidence picks to win it:
    Confidence picks:

14 -AJ Ferrari, Blair Academy, NJ (195)
    13 - Cohlton Schultz, Ponderosa, CO (285)
    12 - Carson Kharchla, Olentangy, OH (170)
11 -Braxton Brown, Allen, TX (106)
10 - Devin Winston, Park Hill, MO (182)
    9 - Abas, Jaden - Rancho Bernardo, CA (145)
8 - Crookham, Ryan - Notre Dame, PA (120) - tough kid tough weight class!
    7 - Williams, Jordan - Collinsville, OK (106)
6 - Stiles, Jake - Montini Catholic, IL (152) tough kid- he can beat those dudes!
5 - Kai Bele - Lake Highland Prep, FL (160) had a good Ironman last year
4 - Hall, Peyton - Oak Glen, WV (138) I should be higher on Saunders - just not
3 - D'Emilio, Dylan - Genoa, OH (132) I think toughest weight class this year.
    2 - Schwartz, Mosha - Ponderosa, CO (126) - Have been a fan for a while
1 -Kaminski, Jacob - Wyoming Seminary, PA (220) Kid from Fenwick right?

    who are yours?
Few years ago someone on the board set something up kinda like this. Where are they at?

Papabear seemed to find a few sleepers along the way as well.

Still a huge fan of the clash, but this is picking up steam for me. Can we get bigger mats PLEASE!

Also no McNichols for Montini...Going to be a rough tournament for those guys as a team...Marmion looks like they're off to a solid start.

Reece Heller beating Baylor Fernandes in round of 16 will change rankings next week. He's jumped a bunch of weights, but is 6'1" now. Hope he places!

            For sure.
But whoever does the rankings on Illinois matmen does not know anything.

I would use IWCOA ( rob Sherriil)
Or Go off the national rankings on flo, intermat, Open Mat
