A dominating performance by the Marmion Squad. Just a well coached team. Big wins by Jaffie @120 over Brewer of Mo, and Chumley over Saunders of Mo.
Punkey of Washington was dominating, and Leveille of of Marist had big tournament over some ranked guys. Marmion is peaking for a big run in February. Washington had good weekend as well should take 2A

For those who don't know:
CBC and Staley each won one of the last two MO big school state titles.
Neosho took 2nd in MO last year, after 4 consecutive titles in the class below.
Christian Brothers (Memphis) is the reigning TN state champ.

Didn't see who won OW. 138 was absolutely loaded, but I gotta believe it's TREVOR CHUMBLEY, my wrestler of the week nomination, who knocked off #4 (nationally) ranked Josh Saunders of CBC.

As far as Illinois tournaments this one never gets the credit it deserves. Some of the top individual wrestlers in the country compete in this tournament every year. Too bad more Chicago area teams don’t make the trek down to good ole G.C.
