Absolutly. Most definitely if it was dual format and bumping was allowed.
106-Sotelo
113-Drousias
120-Rundell
126-Ragusin
132-Bolivar
138-Benjamin
145-Chumbley
152-Stiles
160-Heller
170-Ferrante
182-Assad
195-Christensen
220-Danweih
285-Guttridge
Sorry but no other high school team beats this all-star team.

Abraham is a different type of wrestler than Olds but Abraham did beat Olds at state last season.
That said, at 5'9 Blah is too small compete at 220 lbs in that particular meet.Last edited by James_Oliva; 03-06-2019, 09:41 PM.

I also said Abraham and Olds are two different type wrestlers. Olds was a big strong 220lbs wrestler and was a bad matchup for Dahnweih. Abraham doesn't win on strength but he is a lot bigger than Dahnweih. If they wrestle against each other who knows who wins? I give Abraham the advantage based on size and size alone.

Your entire argument was based on him losing to kid who didn't place while ignoring kids he beat that did.

This is what I came up with:
106-Sotelo vs Wask (4 - 0) Sotelo
113-Rundell vs Ryan Miller (7 - 0) Rundell
120 Ramos/Surtin vs Trevor Mastrogiovanni (7- 3) Mastrogiovanni
126-Illinois has 4 guys I would throw out there. All are tough kids, but Michael Colaiocco is on another level, super tough kid. (7-6) Michael Colaiocco
132-Bolivar vs Shayne Van Ness (7-9) Shayne Van Ness
138- Odom vs Travis Mastrogiovanni (7-12) Travis Mastrogiovanni
145-Chumbley vs Josh Gobencion (13-12) Chumbley
152-Stiles vs Nick Incontera (16 - 12) Stiles
160-Fernandes vs Dom Mata (16 - 16) Dom Mata
170-Ferrante vs Julian Ramirez (16 - 19) Julian Ramirez
182-Assad vs Peyton Craft (19 -19) Assad
195-Christensen vs Sanoussi Kane (25 - 19) Christensen
220-Abraham vs Owen Trephan (25 -25) Owen Trephan
285-Guttridge vs Eli Anthony (28 - 25) Guttridge
Illinois gets the win! Pack your Bags Blair you suck! Breaking this down, just shows how ridiculous Blair is.

On one hand you have an Illinois team having taken most of their wrestlers from teams who recruit from the best of the state/area, on the other, you have Blair taking most of their wrestlers from the best of the country.
Illinois could win, but the toss-ups and bonus points obviously would be the determining factor.

Why don't more schools follow the Blair model?
