Seeding effected by new 45 match limitation?

I'm not totally sure why our school is having trouble getting meets with local teams but a few that have bothered to even respond claim it's because they've already met their 45 match limit.

That said, shouldnt schools have a priority to wrestle within their own district before seeking out non common and/or non seeded competition and perhaps just to get a better win/loss ratio?

Schools will have their conference dual schedule that they must wrestle then fill the rest of the schedule in with tournaments, quads and duals. There is no priority to wrestle anyone outside your conference. Coaches/AD's will put the rest of their schedule together based on what is best for their team. Most coaches have 90% their schedule figured out by April or May. Its going to be hard to find duals now unless some cancelations happen. Your best bet would be to try to get in some tournaments, those are a little easier to get into this late in the game.
