    Force Challenge Open Folkstyle Tournament

    Sunday, April 14, 2013

    WHERE:
    Plainfield Central High School
    Fieldhouse

    COST:
    $15 pre-registered (nonrefundable) if postmarked on or before Monday, April 8, 2013.
    $20 at the door. Limited to the first 400 entries received.

    WEIGH-INS:
    Sunday, 4/14/13, 6:30am - 8:00am. ABSOLUTELY NO LATE WEIGH INS.

    START TIMES:
    Wrestling will begin at approximately 9:00am

    CLINIC:
    We will host a free SMITH BROTHERS technique
    clinic/demonstration for all participants from 8:00am to 8:45pm

    FORMAT:
    Folkstyle
    Every effort will be made to brackets in 4-man round robin format. Every effort will be made to
    separate wrestlers by weight and grade, but we reserve the right to make a one division
    adjustment if necessary and reasonable.
    Times: 14 years old-under, 1:1:1 --- High School, 1.5:1.5:1.5 --- Open, 1.5:1.5:1.5
    Groups: 8-under --- 9-10 --- 11-12 --- 13-14 --- 15-18 (High School) --- Open (Out Of High School)

    AWARDS:
    All participants will receive awards.

    REGISTRATION:
    Make checks payable to Force Wrestling
    Mail pre-registration payment to:
    Force Wrestling - 24137 W. 111th St. Unit F. Naperville, IL 60564
    OR REGISTER AT THE DOOR.

    ADMISSION:
    $3 Adults, Kids 16-Under Free

    INSURANCE:
    Participants must provide own insurance and complete and sign waiver.

    CONCESSIONS:
    Available throughout day

    OTHER:
    Ample bleacher seating available – may bring folding chairs. Visit www.forcewrestling.com for more info.

    Next Sunday at Plainfield Central. RR so everyone will get at least 3 matches. Not using trackwrestling but we will post the results of the tournament.

      are many high school wrestlers attending?

      have not done this tournment and just wondering how many high school wrestlers are attending or have attended in the past.

        Most off-season tournaments get a large number of walk-up wrestlers and very few pre-registered. We have never had more than 10 wrestlers pre-registered in the past but this year we have close to 100. Of those about 25% are high school wrestlers so I think there will be a good amount of brackets in the high school division.

          thx. for the update. just wondering if navy pier is any better event to attend. Noticed a force wrestler 10th grade, attending navy pier, but they only have 25 high school wrestlers.

            navy Pier is on the 27th, you can do both
