Certainly this is more productive than arguing on forums with armchair authoritarians, agents of grievance, and finger pointers.

This week we saw our Justice Department seek out special deals for Trump’s cronies, a MAYDAY moment for our democracy. If my friends or yours are convicted of a felony (or seven of them), they have to pay the price for their actions. Friends of Donald Trump, on the other hand, get special intervention from the Justice Department. This is exactly how it works for Putin, Erdogan, Duterte, and other enemies of democracy.

These actions have made it crystal clear that impeachment was justified and moral. No Democrat should ever hang his or her head for standing up for that cause.

This administration reeks and its smugness is off the charts. Plain-spoken, common sense Americans who see this need to get to the polls and urge their neighbors to do the same.
There is not a single thing that getting more voters out in Chicago will do. Illinois is so firmly Democrat in federal elections the Trump campaign hasn't even opened an office in the state. They've conceded it both elections.

The best thing anyone in Illinois can do is register where your cabin or what-ever is: Wisc., Ind., or Michigan. Its is nice to know a vote for Trump in Illinois is simply martyrdom. The latest from the weirdo:

Trump pushed CIA to find, kill Osama bin Laden's son over higher priority targets
When the CIA gave Trump a list of major terrorist leaders to kill, he said he'd never heard of them. Instead he focused on a target with a famous name.

You are right about Illinois, but the point is that there are outreach efforts to states like Wisconsin--phone calls, postcards, reminders to those who might otherwise stay home. An Illinois resident can do more than sit around. An Illinois resident can reach out to those in neighboring states.

Excellent point!

I've done "Postcards to Voters" for about five or six elections. None of them have been in the state in which I reside. On one side of the postcard, I always draw a picture of somebody voting, then a group of people cheering. I am such an awful artist that the people who receive the cards probably think the stick figures were drawn by somebody's grade schooler.

They send you a list of addresses and no names. You don't put your name on the postcard either. They also have a list of things to say about the candidate. It's really pretty cool, totally anonymous, and you can pick the level of commitment you want (5 postcards, 10, 20, 25, 50, etc.).

GO DEMOCRACY!!!

-- Rerouting money donated to the Eric Trump Foundation for St. Jude Children's Hospital directly into the Trump Organization.

-- Claiming that the Eric Trump Foundation was using the Trump golf courses for free when in fact they were paying an extraordinarily exorbitant amount to use them.

-- Rerouting money donated to the Eric Trump Foundation for St. Jude Children's Hospital to other charities that would personally benefit Donald Trump by holding events at his golf courses and hotels while telling donors that all the money would go to St. Jude.

Do things like this not make you sick to your stomach? Our impeached president is a crook.

I love how Democrats always promote voter fraud.

And we march onwards! Ever onwards, arm-in-arm we seek the truth, and we shall shine a light on corruption wherever we see it. That corruption mainly involves our impeached president, Mr. GrabbyPuss McHaveToPayForIt:

"Not even for ten thousand dollars."

I am not a Democrat, I just think Trump is a tremendous weirdo.

Backing Putin over the US on TV, getting laughed at the UN (like the Iran top guy also), and being chanted "lock him up" by a random baseball audiences are all oddly terrible events by orange makeup up wearing President.

Many people in Illinois have legal legally switch residency in the neighboring states - which is what I was referring to. Ie, spouses of city residency required people. - and reverse lots of people who live most of the year hear but are Texas and Florida residents to reduce taxes.

There were a total of 4 verified fraudulent voters in 2016 not the "millions" that the liar in Chief stated.

Bullshit Receptivity: The Bullshit Receptivity Scale, or BSR, was introduced by Pennycook and colleagues (2015) as a way to measure susceptibility to, essentially, mumbo-jumbo. In other words, when presented with deep-sounding nonsense, what is your tendency to think it means something?
The scale offers various phrases (e.g., “Imagination is inside exponential space-time events”) and has participants rate them on a scale of 1 to 5, from not at all profound to very profound. (Incidentally, according to a 2016 study, high BSR was correlated with favoring Republican, but not Democratic, candidates in the last election.)

You really need to stop reading that garbage.
This is from an article that was claiming that voter fraud is not a problem...at least not a problem for Democrats

"That said, all North Carolinians should value the integrity of our elections. The legislature and the Board of Elections must walk a fine line, doing nothing to discourage legitimate voters while doing their best to eliminate ineligible voting.

The Board’s investigation is helpful toward that end. It found 508 ineligible votes cast. About 87 percent of those (441) were felons who voted. State law prohibits felons from voting until their sentence is fully served, including probation and parole. It is believed that many of the felons who voted did not realize they could not vote while on probation.

The probe found 41 non-citizens, from 28 countries, voted. All were here legally, but were not eligible to vote. The audit also found 24 cases of double-voting and two cases of voter impersonation (one by mail and one in person)."

https://www.charlotteobserver.com/op...146486019.html

"The Government Accountability Institute was able to obtain voter registration and voter history data from only 21 states because while some states shared it freely, “others impose exorbitant costs or refuse to comply with voter information requests.”

These 21 states represent “about 17 percent of all possible state-to-state comparison combinations.”

The Institute compared the lists using an “extremely conservative matching approach that sought only to identify two votes cast in the same legal name.” It found that 8,471 votes in 2016 were “highly likely” duplicates.

Extrapolating this to all 50 states would likely produce, with “high-confidence,” around 45,000 duplicate votes.

The Institute obtained this level of confidence by matching not only names and birthdays—which can be the same for different individuals—but also by contracting with companies, such as Virtual DBS, that have commercial databases to further cross-check these individuals using their Social Security Numbers and other information.

According to the Government Accountability Institute’s experts, “the probability of correctly matching two records with the same name, birthdate, and social security number is close to 100 percent.” In fact, “using these match points will result in virtually zero false positives.”

The probability of 45,000 illegal duplicate votes is the low end of the spectrum, and it does not even account for other types of fraud such as ineligible voting by noncitizens and felons and absentee ballot fraud."

California had more registered voters than it had citizens.

You better pick up the pace with those post cards. The Democrat party is bleeding union voters, black voters, hispanic voters and first time voters.
