Tickets for the clinic are $40 per wrestler, which includes general admission to the Brawl. (Brawl-only full-day pass $10) Tix for Clinic and Brawl at btschicago.org/bts-brawl

High school teams competing at the Brawl:
Bergen Catholic
Lake Highland Prep
Montini Catholic

Poway

Duals are at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 7:30pm

  • A clinic by multiple senior world team member, NCAA Champ and current North Carolina Assistant Wrestling Coach Tony Ramos.
  • Should really be a pretty fun exhibition/technique session with Kamal Bey and Ellis Coleman. Have the cameras ready!
  • Place to be to take in some great wrestling with nationally ranked teams coming in to battle Illinois' top 2 programs (yea, I said it).

Kid, coaches, parents and fans in attendance won't be disappointed!

Jan. 12th, 2019 will be a great day for wrestling in IL. And, 100% of the profits made from the day will go directly to charity, helping youth wrestling in the city (BTS) and disabled vets (Xtreme Couture).

Beat the Streets Chicago*is putting on the 2019 Beat the Streets Brawl, a dual meet format competition featuring 5 nationally ranked teams: #3 Bergen Catholic, NJ, #4 Montini Catholic, IL, #10 Lake Highland Prep, FL, #18 Poway, CA, and #27 OPRF, IL. Wrestling starts at 11 AM and runs all day, with the final duals (Montini vs OPRF and LHP vs Bergen) starting at 7:30 PM.

Before the HS wrestling, Illinois wrestling legend Tony Ramos will be putting on a kids clinic. The clinic starts at 8:30 AM and spots are limited. There are about 30 spots left for the clinic, sign up today!

At 7:00 PM, we will take a brief break and Ellis Coleman and Kamal Bey will take the mat. The Ellis/Kamal demo will be one of the best displays of technical and athletic prowess ever seen in wrestling. This will not be a match. Instead, it will be scripted, action packed, and MC'ed by Dave Mirikitani. The kids in the crowd will have signs with the nicknames "The Flying Squirrel" and "The Human Highlight Reel" on them and will be able to vote on who hit each technique better. This is a MUST SEE!
You can find tickets to the Ramos clinic, General admission and VIP tickets for the wrestling and expo, and information on the trackcast- all matches will be broadcast on trackwrestling here:

Must See!!!!

There are EXACTLY 25 spots left for the TONY RAMOS clinic (8:30-11AM). We anticipate selling out prior to Saturday morning. You can buy tickets at http://www.btschicago.org/bts-brawl/

Attendance at the clinic gets you a free ticket to the incredible wrestling event afterward. You can go home, shower and come back to see the Ellis and Kamal demo at 7 PM (which will be incredible) immediately followed by Montini vs OPRF and Lake Highland Prep , FL vs Bergen Catholic, NJ.

The HS wrestling begins at 11 AM and runs all day. 5 top 20 teams will step to the line.
