Should call it alot more. If the kid isn’t trying to set up a tilt or escape, call it. Too much hanging on the hip with 0 attempt to turn and no call. Don’t let this turn into throwing a ball into a hoop. Make them wrestle. The sad part is some of these weak *** coaches are actually teaching it. How bout if you can’t score 5 points you both lose.

How about, if there is no (little) action on the mat, both wrestlers are put back on their feet?

Oh, wait.... that's Freestyle - we don't want that.

Stalling seems to be called differently at State, or possibly more is expected of elite wrestlers by the ref., possibly they know the difference between not wanting to do something and not being able to do something.
