Carmel, Neuqua Valley, Plainfield Central, Providence Catholic, St. Patrick, St. Rita, Sycamore, Vista, CA, Waubonsie Valley, Wheaton North, Yorkville

Iowa City West (class 3A for those that thought 2A was the only "tough" Iowa class) will be real tough to handle as a team. The have a solid line up from top to bottom with some of their home grown and several transfers. Look for top competition from Moore X2, Lower, Gambrall, St. John with another 6 werstlers competive enough to take medals. I hope we can send them home with anything but 1st. Good luck, and beat West.

Surprised to see that Vista is back after a shakey showing last year.
Tied for 20th with Waubonsie Valley with 58 pts

You shouldn't be. Their coach was a coach at Wheeling, IL before he went out west and he knows that the best way to get better is to face TOUGH competition. Yea, they got clobbered last year at Dvorak, and I sat in the stands with a bunch of their parents....it was a real eye-opener for them, BUT...they looked forward to coming back this year. That is the spirit of this sport.....

When I read the teams at Dvorak I heard the sound of a HUGE saw starting up. How great!!! By the way, how did the Iowa team finish in Iowa state last year? Any individual state results available?

Will Moore be at 125? How about St. John? These two are beast and can wrestle with anyone in Illinois...

I think it's great ICW is coming to the Dvorak. I thought Pleasant Valley use to come??? I'm surprised more Iowa teams don't come. Bettendorf would have been a good fit this year.

The Dvorak isn't the Ironman or the Beast but, still a very good tournament!
