Head Wrestling Coach- Eisenhower Junior High (Darien)

Eisenhower Junior High is looking for a Head Wrestling Coach for the 2018-2019 season. Currently only an English (Special Education Assistant) Aide and substitute positions are open. Aide positions are also available at the high school (Downers Grove South).

Eisenhower is a part of the IESA and has historically been one of the most successful wrestling programs in the state with support from the district and families and it feeds both Downers Grove South and Hinsdale South High School which both offer support of the program.

There will be a Math position posted soon at Eisenhower Junior High to go along with the Head Wrestling Coaching position for the right candidate. The principal is very supportive of the program and would like to find someone in the building.

A 5th-grade teacher position has just been posted in District 61 at the elementary school that feeds into Eisenhower. The school is one block from Eisenhower and could be combined with the Head Wrestling Coach position at Eisenhower. Any interested applicants should fill out the District 61 application ( https://www.darien61.org/) and send DGS Head Coach slovelace@csd99.org an email with their interest in the position.

why apply to the HC at the High School? shouldnt the applicant apply through the school district? qualified applicants interview?

Any good Jr high and kids club dont focus on where they go to HS they focus on the kids with improvement athletically, academically and socially NOW!!!

A JR High coach shouldnt influence one way or another.

No one is applying to the high school head coach. It's a matter of one wrestling coach trying to help other wrestling coaches find teaching positions, which will inevitably help any high school program down the road.

That being said, a Middle School Math position is now also available at Eisenhower Junior High in Darien. Any interested candidates should apply on the District 61 website. Also feel free to contact DGS Head Coach Sean Lovelace (slovelace@csd99.org) with your interest in the position as the high school has a great working relationship with Eisenhower both athletically and academically.

Darien Eisenhower is looking for a Head Wrestling Coach for the 2018-2019 season. Currently, there are no teaching openings for the school year, but several support staff openings.
