I heard the Roberts thing also. As well as Labarbera. 2 of your returning Montini are most likely gone. The only freshman making any impact will be Stiles.

I think Elliott Lewis could be a big guy to watch this year for MT. Carmel. Do any of the ST. Rita guys end up there?

Elliot is a good wrestler. From what I remember, Elliot went back and forth last year with Chris Bowman from Mt Carmel for a V spot. That sectional will have some tough competition at that weight, Labarbera, Ghee Rachal Marist, Kevin Zimmer Sandburg and Drzabrail Khurshidov West Aurora. Elliot took second at the JV CCL tourney held at Providence to Nathan Wemstrom.

With Labarbera coming in Wemstrom will sit the bench again. Lewis will have to deal with Bowman at 195 or Mishka at 220 possibly could go heavyweight if Brown sticks with football, but he would be giving up a lot of weight. Montini and Mt. Carmel have several guys that will ride the bench that would start for over half the teams in the state

I am thinking Ghee (Marist) will be 2A this year. Owen Jacobsen could very well find a spot in that MTC line-up.

That also shows they probably did not need to be in A & 2A as long as they were. But great for them either way, you can only go against who they put in front of you. I tried to look up how many State Champs don't repeat senior year for a % but I could not figure it out. The IHSA site changes formats in 2010 and they do not what year in school they are etc.

Is Brayden Thompson headed to Montini or Mt. Carmel and could David Mayora make an impact at 138 for Montini? Donít know if Mayora is in high school or an 8th grader this year.
