Really? How can you misunderstand this paragraph:

I categorized all 506 signatories according to their self-identified field of expertise. Only 10 identified as climate scientists, and 4 identified as meteorologists. (Together, thatís 2.8% of the total.) Signatories in totally unrelated academic fields (for example, psychology, philosophy, archaeology, and law) outnumbered climate scientists by two to one.

This was self-identification too. Who knows what they consider to be a climate scientist. Someone that is an intern at a local news station working with the weather guy. See I just did a Mal type of bogus assumption like you enjoy doing.

There is nothing nebulous about the way this survey was written...the survey is in the link below. It is very clear and concise. PolitiFact does take a few shots at the survey, but it can not be debunked because it is a legitimate survey of 31,000 people in the scientific community...3805 of them are in environmental sciences. This survey pokes a hole in your 97% garbage. Neither a survey or a consensus are proof of anything except that 97% of all climate scientist do not agree that man is causing global warming. We don't have to go back very far in this discussion to get to the point where you thought that 97% meant 97 out of 100 climate scientists. You just spit out these talking points without looking them up...and that talking point has been debunked for almost a decade.

"When we look at the number of people with some sort of background in fields that tie directly to climate change, the petition website said, "there are 3,805 scientists trained in specialties directly related to the physical environment of the Earth."

That would be about 12 percent of the total.

There are, according to the site, 9,029 people with PhDs, which comes closer to meeting a higher bar for being thought of as a scientist. Based on the siteís figures, most of them donít specialize in climate change, but they likely are more familiar with scientific methods."

Real legit...The maker of that video asks for money...
and make a monthly or one-time pledge at http://www.climatediscussionnexus.com...

If you google that guy he is an absolute nobody...the only thing on the internet about him is made by him. There are lots of people like that, its hard to make a buck, although he likely makes some good points and likely believes what he sais. You can find any expert our there to cast doubt on anything. Joe Rogan is a skeptic, let him decide.

I was watching a show on entrepreneurs thinking about innovative ways to make money and save the environment. One guy thought about farm raised fish which as a fisherman, I think itís disgusting eating fish out of a poop pond, But the reality is that is what is being served in restaurants. Apparently they take tons of fish out of the ocean grind them up in the pellets and feed them. He thought, what a waste? So he remembered going flyfishing with his grandfather. He designed this innovative way to create natural things fish eat on land to feed them. Do all you climate change deniers think that we should abandon this kind of forward thinking? Is this all a hoax? Is this fake news? Should we go back to regular leaded gasoline? Should we totally give up on developing technology to harnessSun and wind for energy?

Mal you live in a cave of ignorance. No one with a brain denies man made climate change anymore.

Do you think you are a rational person when your best evidence is the Canadian dude's low budget videos over NASA? Over every single American university? Over every single major science journal in the world?

Stop and think Mack. You are taking this Canadian dude's videos over all those other organizations and academic institutions?

This really discredits the validity of your opinions on ANY topic. To be so misguided and idiotic on this one topic makes one question really any opinion you have.
