What team do you coach. Are you from Illinois?
Let me know and I can point you in the right direction.

Earl specializes in tough boys wrestling. You will not find much quality in 1A or 2A wrestling in Illinois, much less in southern Illinois.

You can use this link to find tournaments to take your kids to go 0-2 at https://illinoismatmen.com/high-scho...ment-brackets/

Do not worry though. It is only 1A and nobody cares.

Gross Nose, Matmen is so fortunate to have a person of your caliber. What would the world do without you. I am sure the Sparta coach appreciates your intelligent advice. But aren't the 3A tournaments supposed to be tougher?
I am pretty sure if you put all the Illinois State medal winners in the same room, had the same coaches, taught the same technique for 6 months, you wouldn't be able to to tell the difference in the 3 classes. I can't wait to here your noise from your Gross Nose.

Earl, I can tell you are a 1A guy. Just curious, why do colleges not recruit 1A wrestlers? D3 does not count because that is just glorified intramurals. I can tell you hear these GrossNoises all night.

Also, I love the fact you corrected your post for spelling errors, but you do not know the correct version of hear. You are a total boob. Looking forward to arguing IESA stuff with you though. I know how cute you think those little fellas are in their singlets with their budding muscles, ya big freak.

I would look into Carbondale (Murdale). Good tournament with a format that gets everyone several matches. Mahomet has a similar one. Also, there are some smaller school tournaments in St. Louis (MICDS, Ft. Zumwalt) that might be perfect for a smaller/new team. Search track

There is a link on MM home page with tournament results. Find out what dates your team has available and go from there.

They are already at Carbondale getting pounded out. Just go to Rochester, Unity and Mt. Olive, they are JV quality tournaments for you to get your mismatched singlet kids home by noon so they can tend to their moonshine fields.
