Did Kennedy lose??

The Daily Herald this morning had Jimmy Kennedy losing at 119 to Lake Forest's Gailey 18-7. Tell me it's another Herald misprint!!!!

Kennedy isnt all hes cracked up to be

I bet he did lose. I have only watch him wrestle at state his fresh and soph year and he lost in the finals to fanthorpe and almost lost to carpenter last year so why is everybody on his bandwagon didnt he get pinned last year by crowns Hayes anyways in team state and wasnt he suppose to dominate the crown kid, just goes to show he isnt all hes cracked up to be, but it probably was a misprint

Are you nuts???? Jimmy Kennedy is easily one of the best wrestlers in the nation, not just in IL. He weighed all of 95 lbs when he lost to Fanthorpe (he was an undefeated freshman), he wrestled a conservative match last year in the state finals but was CLEARLY in control; the loss to Dundee-Crown in the team state duals was 2 weight clases UP!!! He wound up the Cadet Outstanding Wrestler in Freestyle this summer. This season he is undefeated and ranked #1! Is there something you are not quite "getting"?????

I doubt Kennedy really cares what sherman or for that matter what
i think about his wrestling, But you really need to take the time to
watch him wrestle more because if you enjoy this sport you would
enjoy it more. I have went to tournaments and quads just to see him
wrestle. He has great balance on his feet, He has great form when
he goes for the leg you never see him with his face in the mat getting
nothing lots of guys can get a leg its the ones that no how to finish
that make them better from the rest. If he isnt one of the most sought
after guys in ill. im shocked. I watched him maybe 6 or 7 years and never
have spoken to him but in those six years he has always seems to be in top shape and mentally is one of the toughest i would say that he probably
has never had a point deducted from his team. He seems to have the
total package not only is he a great wrestler he has brains and seems to
stay away from trouble and now days for a teenager to do that it is a
great thing and can only do great things for the sport. If your not on
his ban wagon as you say, that is your choice but Im glad to be on
his and when guys give matchs as the two you mentioned at state
you only tip your hat and say thanks. Good luck in your quest to find
the perfect wrestle there isnt one, but every so ofter there's the wrestler
that seems to find the top more often then the rest and those
wrestlers which are far fewer than the rest set the bench mark for
the rest and with the hope to make something good even better!

Kennedy the wrestler

Your point is well made ‘hi5’. It is always a pleasure to watch Kennedy wrestle, he frequently makes is look easy. He is an exceptional technician, and through dedication, commitment, and hard work has made himself into a great athlete. There is no question the state is ‘loaded’ with a number of exceptional 119 lbs’ers this year. Obviously Fanthorpe, Huttter, Lloyd, or Oster are capable of winning. However I certain Kennedy’s focus is on his own performance, as well it should be, and not the performance of his competitor’s.

Wink

Jimmy Kenedy, is one of the greatest in IL, he can go to any weight calss he wants and probablly STILL place in state, I watched him in teh state finals last year, and I mirror some of his own foot work adn what not because it's surley effective. Speaking of last year, he didn't almost lose, he was in control the WHOLE match, so if he did lose, well he WAS on an off day, because kenedey is a GREAT.
