All-2000's team (state champs only, any class)

I started the 90's list. Let's do the 2000's now! Who are the best state champs from the past ten years in any class?

Not for my 1st team... Feel free to put him on yours though
IMO -
Pretto as a SR beats Starzyck as a SO
Ferry as a JR beats Starzyck as a JR
Ramos as a SR beats Starzyck as a Sr

But that is my opinion

Oh I can see where they would be upset. But I gotta go with DERGO @ 171 if I am picking MY team. I am sure others would go another direction. (Plus Dergo and Weil on my All-2000's wrestlers Football Backfield would be pretty formidable too!)

why sadly?

we can't defend our guy. There are guys on the first team (white) who hes beaten and except for Goebel he has more wins in hs than any of them or anyone else in hs history. He also gave Blanton hios only high school loss so yeah hes a good choice. But of course so is Dergo. so no big deal but I am allowed to express my opionion on here just like anyone else

Just curious, if you were going to make the list where would you slide Benefield in? Would it be Sr year at 171? or

Jr Year at 152? Would you slide someone out to put ALBERT in there at another weight? or Would Albert be designated to the 2nd team?
