Mariani at 90 wrestled well against last years state champ at 80 Miller. and at 95 Davidson and Sorenson had a very close match i think it could have gone either way.

Did Ed and Frank Wenmouth get alot better or is 65 really easy... I remember last year at sectionals Ed barely got out of sectionals he beat are 65 pounder in over time by 1 point going for third place.

i was watching video wen i saw last years sectional qualifying match, which was sayeedi vs ed wenmouth

sayeedi looked like he got his 2, n it looked like the darien coaches knew it too, but the ref kept going n wenmouth ended up winning

either ed is a lot better
or 65 is a really easy weight class

I don't think I was as much shocked as I was disappointed with the 215 and heavyweight classes. I wasn't disappointed with who won, but it just seemed like the talent pool was a bit shallow. For those who have been regulars at this event for years, was the talent down a bit this year, or was this par for the course for the heavier weights?
