And chief, if I were you I would avoid the shrimp at the Golden corral. I remember at frosh soph state in Springfield a kid puked all over the floor in the hotel room. I don’t think they de vein their shrimp. And yes, I’m positive it was the shrimp that got the kid sick. I saw the tails!

Midlands is a college in season tournament. The toughest one there is.

Get over it.

I feel like I also have to tell you guys Vaudeville isn't coming back. Sheesh

note: Rivera was UP 5-3 when he went off injured.

On another subject, I have felt that the ILLINI were a superb dual team this year. They are proving to be an under-rated tournament team.

Finally, before the season started would you have believed this: I believe that the Great Indestructible Pio will beat Sebastian Rivera? I'm becoming a believer.

WAR ILLINI!!!
The omission was intentional. I watched Gunther's matches and was not impressed. He seems to have the Barone game plan down pat. Also, he had a great draw, which helped him tremendously. For clarification, Pio was losing to Rivera 5-2 late in the third at the time Rivera injury defaulted. Pio still had a very good tournament along with the aforementioned others in my post. Overall a pretty good showing for the Illini. Iowa was a machine and nobody was going to get close to them.

As a homer i have to note that it wouldve been 5-4 after the escape and Pio wouldve gotten the TD and rideout for the W

One guy that deserves mention for working hard is David Riojad. He looked markedly improved from 2 years ago in the three matches i saw. He might never be a star, but I like seeing guys getting better.
