Illinois results from the Northern Plains Regional

ROCHESTER, MN • Four of Illinois’ top female wrestlers earned a Northern Plains title this past weekend out of the twenty-five placewinners who earned a top-six finish in the Freestyle field and qualified for the Fargo. Additionally, two young ladies participated in the Girls Greco-Roman competition, and each placed third.  

Here is the list of wrestlers from this past weekend’s Northern Plains who placed and have now qualified to represent Team Illinois at the National Championships this summer in Fargo, North Dakota.
