Brock Emmerich, Sr, Deerfield, 160 – Won the Antioch tournament while recording 4 falls, a tech fall, a major decision, and 2 decisions (2-1 and 3-2) over 2A State Champion and 2A #1 ranked Dylan Connell of Woodstock Marian.
Matt Ramos, Sr, Lockport, 120 – Champion and Outstanding Wrestler at the Barrington tournament winning a loaded 120-pound bracket with 4 returning state placers. Beat Enzo Silva of Plainfield South 7-1 in the semifinals and Michael Jaffe of Marmion Academy 9-4 in the finals.
Luke Rasmussen, Jr, Barrington, 160 – Won the Moore-Prettyman tournament in his home gym beating the #1 seed Brad Gross of Marmion Academy, a returning state finalist, in the semifinals followed by a win over the #3 seed Jake Kendall of Plainfield South in the finals.
