Eddie Bolivar, Sr, OPRF, 132 – Beat defending Class 3A state champion and top ranked Fabian Lopez of DeKalb 9-2 to highlight a banner day for Oak Park on Saturday. The Huskies went 3-0 at their own quad, beating DeKalb 39-30, Washington 48-21 and Providence 55-17.
Peter Christensen, Sr, Montini, 195 – Only Illinois wrestler to reach the finals at the prestigious Ironman tournament in Ohio.
Blah Dahnweih, Sr, DeKalb, 195 – Beat returning Class 2A state champion Jace Punke of Washington, who is ranked #1 in 2A and #4 in the country.
Kyle Schickel, Jr, Lemont, 138 – Had 2 techs, 2 pins, and beat Class 3A #2 ranked Pat Nolan of Sandburg 10-8.
