I don't know if anyone saw this on the IHSA website, but the lower seats at Assembly Hall are supposed to be reserved at this year's tournament. They cost a little more ($10 as opposed to $8), but I'm sure this is prevented the sprinting and boxing out I've seen at previous tournaments.

The great thing about Assembly Hall is there isnt a bad seat in the place.I love goin to state to watch and i dont even have a kid in highschool.

This will take place next year. The money earned in this will help offset lost monies when the IHSA waves entry fees for state series tournaments in 2005-06

They are also accepting bids for new locations for state finals as the current contract expires at the end of this year.

I have but one complaint about our current venue, small seats. For those of us around 6' it is a bit cramped seating.
