Some results that were not posted with wrestlers in the rankings.... here you go for next week... Anyone who has results, should post them. Rather than complain about where people are because so and so beat so and so, just post it so that the rankers can be informed and use the information
Rubino STC E over Cavillaris Nequa 3-2
Zinzer WA over Crawford STC E fall
Mercadante STC E over Savenok WWS 9-3
Mercadante STC E over Pearlstrom WA 16-6

fanofthemat, I did post the score from the Dixon duals this past weekend (see the duals 12/6 thread).
T.deal, I just don't get how someone who is HM last week, loses in a good match to the #3 guy, wins everything else by pin, stiill drops out of the rankings completely.

dont expect luke nelson to stay at 160. He has been bumping up for the good of the team, when he really weighed in for the fat test at roughly 140. Gotta put him top 4 at 140 or 145, depending on where he goes. Plus Malik Taylor should also be at 140-145, he has also been bumping up for the team.

Somehow, you Lost DONNY SIMPSON of Romeoville in your Rankings..
Rob Sherril Had him at #4 at 135. He was OW at Stagg at 140... I imagine you were moving him to 140 and just lost him in the shuffle.
Keep up the Work!

Its either that, or there is a rule that there can only be 2 RHS wrestlers ranked in the same week. j/k Also congrats to Leo Speedy, apparently the upset did get him some attention.

it is tradition, no more than 2 romeoville wrestlers can ever be ranked in one week..check your history...jk
probably an accidental omission.

If my memory serves me correcly Spartak Chino of WWS beat Eric Oyster at Frosh/Soph State this year, and He also Beat Adam Stine(#10 135) of Nequa Valley 5-0 this past Saturday at the St. Charles East Mega Duals. If you have Oyster ranked at #3 at 140 then Chino should at least be in the top 10 and in my opinion probably even higher.

Umm...just so everyone knows, there are some guys in the rankings that have already graduated high school. For instance, at 145 lbs, Jimmy DiNino from St Pat's, ranked #8 is no longer in high school. Also at 145, Shane Murphy from Lyons listed as HM, has graduated. It's really not a big deal and those are the only one's I noticed so far, but they should not be up there. I'm sure it will be corrected.

Carlson is 7-1, and EVERY kid he wrestled he pinned with the exception of Hecox, and he was moved OFF the ranks just for losing 10-5 to Hecox after earning 42 team points so far????

i saw stenberg wrestle at the state tournament last and he was wrestling very well and i know he did very well in freestyle, but i agree, munster is probably the stud of the weightclass. but i guess anything can happen, just look at what happened to munster last year, i could see stenberg beating him but i do believe that munster is the favorite

haha, someone on the 145 rankings couldnt be happier, he's right where he wants to be, out of the top 10 he said that way he can be the upsetter that nobody is expecting...best part about it is that he really believes rankings dont matter...

Nice to see Eric Carlson (Moline) back in the rankings at 160. Currently 8-1 with some great takedowns and pins - pinned every one he has gone up against but the 10-5 loss to Hecox. Looking to see what Moline as a team will do Saturday st the Prospect tourney in Mount Prospect. Also saw Anthony Angel (E Moline - United Township) ranked at 152? thought he was staying at 160 this year?

Thanks for all the input. It is very important and I do get on here every couple of days to read it. Sorry for the Simpson and Carlson omissions. Sometimes I use the cut command when I shouldn't instead of copy when I'm moving kids from one weight to another or adding kids. As a result, sometimes they disappear and I don't catch it. The admin has posted a corrected version that includes both.
Please keep a couple of things in mind when posting results for me to add:
1. The Daily Herald appears to be no longer posting their box scores online. In the past, they were a major source of information and the fact that they are no longer available is a huge setback for me. So please post anything significant you see from any box scores that would have been either in the Cook or Lake editions of the Herald. I'm fairly set on DuPage and the Fox Valley but don't necessarily assume.
2. If you're posting a result for a wrestler who isn't in the rankings already, please include his year and any losses or other significant wins he has that you know of. In many cases, the wrestler is either somebody his coach did not list on his pre-season survey or the survey was not returned and the kid is a new starter. I probably have some, or maybe all, of them in my results from previous weeks, but this would save me some digging.
Thanks for all you do.
