Who are some of the wrestlers that are having some extremley good years, but A) Haven't cracked the rankings yet, B) Have been performing well but don't have the great records due to several losses to ranked or AA kids C) Have a great chance at making some noise at regional/sectional time due to coming around and turning it on at the right time. Thought this would be a good way to hear some new names. Please include name, school, weight, and sectional. Thanks.

Benesh from Stillman Valley at 119. Even though that is a stacked weight at the Oregon Sectional. 5 of the top 10 ranked kids feed into that sectional. I think he should be considered in the BOTR at worst.
for all of you who enjoy comeback stories and lifestyle turn-arounds, i have one.
Tad Keeling, a senior and 2-time state qualifier, at 140 lbs., wrestled in Vandalia's line-up for the first time all season this past week. (def. Short (145lb. BOTR) of Litchfield 3-2 in first match back)
after winning the vandalia 119 lb. sectional title as a sophomore, he missed the trip to assembly hall due to academic ineligibility. this was also the cause of his absence at the end of last season.
we are all now proud to say that he has finally  gotten his act together.
and i wish him the best of luck, and have no doubt he'll be making some noise this postseason.

Keeling was back in the Vandalia lineup @ 140, and dec. Justin Titsworth( not Chris Short, he was @ 145 and wrestled Cox) Good Luck to Mr. Keeling!:)

Ive been following the BNC teams a lot this year and have noticed many wrestlers from Burlington Central that have not yet been ranked.
130 - Pat Kupp - very sound wrestler that has no recognition yet
140 - Glenn Wellendorf - has been ranked in previous years but for some reason is not on it this year, still looks state worthy
145 - Jon Wellendorf - has almost come out of nowhere and has beaten many state ranked wrestlers (pinned skorup from sandwhich, teched waters from dwight, pinned sojka from winnibago)
189 - jard lyle - beat number 3 ranked kid from Prarie Central
ALL OF THEM ARE STATE WORTHY AND SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED.

Keith Knoll of Salt Fork is still undefeated as far as I know. He is a Senior at 119lbs. I believe he lost a tough match to Zurcher last year at Sectionals.

Nick Hamilton a sophomore from Bismark-Henning will be a force to reckon with at 145 this year. His only loss is to Luke Taylor .
