I'm for the multiplier. It prevents teams like Montini from being a big fish in a small pond.

I live in a town that has one stop light and about 420 kids in our school. The closet big town is about 25 min. away. It is very hard to compete and keep kids interested in wrestling because they know if they make it to the show that they have a chance to get pasted.... why, because we sit out here in cornland and have only a certain number of kids to make wrestlers, with little chance of a move in because of no jobs.
The room intensity and the quility of competition is a major factor. How are we supposed to compete with the Montini's of the world with our student population the way it is? I would like to see some of the Class A coaches with some of the talent in AA. Look at Dakota, what do they have 300 kids in their school not 1300. What would Coach Alber do with they many potential wrestlers? I think the IHSA has done what it needs to do. The next step will be move to 3 classes in our sport
