thnx for the kind words. I personally like the "some kid" part. Of course this comes on the day as I celebrate my 24th birthday. Married with a child. Full time job at a police department, part time firefighter/emt. My own house, 2 2000 or newer vehicles. Yet, i'm just some kid. Oh well. Happy Birthday to me I guess.

This board's set up is similar and I think easier to navigate than the other one.

I don't know what forum you're looking at but you might want to check out the "views" statistics on this one and/or the AA forum. Looks to me like it has quickly come up to speed. It might not have the bashing, negative, abusive posts that you're used to but the posts now are much more factual and to the point.
It has done exactly as promised, reduced the crap, increased the information flow.
It is so apparent to any real fan of IHSA wrestling that this forum has gotten rid of the anonymous flamer simply because of the threat of reprisal. Once you've put a identification label out there with your email address on it, you can be shut down very quickly for inappropriate behavior, etc.
As you said, wrestlers are the most respectful athletes around. They deserve this kind of treatment!
By the way, Flashy is the best moderator of them all...you get rankings updates and input regularly. AA could use the help in that area.

I have to agree with the others. It takes a while to get used to any change, but this forum is similar to the football forum we visit, and I applaud Flashy for all he does. With a wife and child, a full time job, plus moderating this board and doing the rankings, he is a pretty busy "kid". Keep up the good work.... :rolleyes: And HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!! :cool:

After all the hard work that he has put into the board, you have to come on and bash his hard work and dedication. I don't see you spending hours of your time and your money on this. Did you make a donation to the sight? If not, I am sure flashey could start sending the bills to keep the sight up to you if you choose. I don't see how somebody can look a gift in the mouth the way you did here. I have an idea, go to another sight, or take that gift out of your mouth, and put a foot in it. What if he didn't do this for us, what would we have, a slow, cheap, hard to understand sighht that would not have as many hits. Come on now, think before we speak. Just think of how you would feel if you were the one, or your child was the one putting this together. We are all wrestlers and we all enjoy all sorts of input. For your info, you must not have read the post about the wrestler who wanted to rank the mat maids, I thought that was funny, and that stayed posted.

I have no idea what your intentions are, but the message board, ABOUT wrestling is not the place to be discussing it. I always post my email for people to send me their ranking info, comments and or suggestions about the board. Therefore, I invite you to send me an email, as anonymous so we can discuss what you have against me. I also find it funny that you had to "edit" your first post to cover up the part where YOU DID call me "just a kid" running the board. Lets take this to email and leave the board to whats its here for us for....wrestling!

As much as i'm going to take crap for this from tom the anonymous, i'm going to lock this thread. Its the time of the season where we should be focussing on conference tourneys, regionals and so on. As I've stated before, I have not deleted a message from this board or the old board since the off season and that wasn't even my decision, yet one of the other moderators. Tom, if you do have a problem with me or the way the boards run, either email me or leave. We're here to talk about wrestling, not me! Just a note, if there is another post on here from you that doesn't involve wrestling, it will be deleted. I'm putting my foot down now.
