pinched nerve

I've had the pinched nerve for about three weeks. It's gotten a bit better with the soft collar, but I'm wondering what treatments have worked for people. I still get numbness in the hand and pain at my shoulder and elbow.

Every tournament I go to there are two or three people who had theirs fused. They often disagree about the recovery time and whether it was worth it.

Anyone had experience with a pinched nerve? What helped? I'm hoping to avoid surgery, but I'm at a standstill with getting any better.

I had a messed up nerve like that from football. I would suggest taking a visit to the chiropractor, after a few weeks the pain was basically gone and I haven't felt it since.
