Dream match-ups at state....

A lot can happen between now and the state individual tournament, BUT....what are the match-ups you REALLY want to see????? Engwall vs Argue? A rematch of Tharp and Keske??? Cusik vs Robbins? Morgan vs Precin??? For me it's a possible Kennedy vs Fanthorpe at 119 lbs (rematch of the 2003 103 lb finals). Both were undefeated then, both are undefeated now.

some match ups i wanna see are gagan vs. hutter, a mix of either bullard vs. precin or precin vs hiatt, or hiatt vs. bullard, gould vs cusick, tharp vs. white,golden vs. kernats,

I just want to see the 119 weight class. It doesn't matter who because the whole weight class will be good. Actually I would like to see Lloyd against Oster. That would be really wild.

And of course I would like to see Morgan vs Precin as a finals match, not in the quarters or semis. Of course the IHSA never pairs up the matches you want to see because they don't seed wrestlers.

sorry to mr. twister but i think 125 is better to watch than 119 yes the fanthope vs.kennedy match is great and yes the llyod, oster and hutter thrown into the mix is exciting but precin vs. hiatt match is a blockbuster throw in mario, bullard, williams, kohlberg, mike nelson from galesburg and others you have alot of overtime and double overtime thrillers great weight classes both of them

i want to see white vs. tharp. i dont think tharp and keske would be much of a match, if you were at dvorak you would have seen tharp take down and let up keske 5 times.

Probably right. I think his spirt got broken in the Fanthorpe match. In his mind he came to win the whole enchilada. These wrestlers mind is so wierd and interesting. But last year is in the books and this is a new year.
