Harper National Champs!!!!!!!!

Congrats to Harper College on their NJCAA Div III National Championship. They finished with 119 points, which was good for 3rd overall (NJCAA is seperated by scholarship and non-sholarship). They finished with 8 All-Americans and scored the most points in school history at the National Tournament. Congrats to Head Coach Dan Loprieno and the Harper Hawks on a great season.

Any Senior who is uncertain about their college prospects should certainly look into Harper. They have an extremely competitive room and send kids on every year to Division I, II, III, and NAIA schools.

Congrats should go out to all 3 Chicago area JC's as Harper (3rd overall), Waubansee (5th), and Triton (10th) finished 1-2-3 in the country in their division. Quite a showing for the area teams. Hopefully we can get some more great finishes at the D3 Championships this weekend.

Imagine the potential for dominance if College of DuPage reinstated their program. Centrally located in one of the deepest wrestling counties in the entire country with the opportunity to pull in kids from all over northern Illinois, they would be a force to be reckoned with. Alas, we can only dream about such things.
