"Dekalb King of the Hill" Takedown Tournament April 2, 2006

On April 2nd, 2006 DeKalb High School will host the 2nd annual King of the Hill takedown tournament. It is limited to the first 300 entries. You can find the application at the link below. Last year we had a great response for this tournament. We werer finished by 3:00 pm last year. It is an opportunity to improve yourself on your feet. Age Divsions
8, 9, & 10 (2, 1 minute per.)
11 & 12 (2, 11/2 min. per.)
13 & 14 (2, 11/2 min. per.)
15, 16, & 17 (2, 2 min. per.)
18 & UP (2, 2 min. per.)
AwardsMedals will be awarded to 1st – 4th place finishers.
Most Falls
A Gear Bag will be awarded to one wrestler from each age division recording the most falls. If there is a tie for most falls, the winner will be the one that records them in the least amount of time.
King of the Hill Awards
Longest Reign (Most Wins) – Gear Back Pack
Last One Standing – Gear Back Pack
King of the Hill Competition RulesAt the conclusion of all wrestling we will take each age division to a mat and line them up by weight. We will then play "King of the Hill". Just like practice, we go by size upwards. One takedown wins it and the winner stays in until he is beaten. Awards will be given to Longest Reign (Most Wins) and Last One Standing.
