How is Luke Taylor still ranked #1 in his weight, didnt he lose to some of the kids below him?

He lost to Dorn from Rockford (AA) and Downing when Taylor was up at 152. I believe those are his only losses. If they aren't...then I didn't receive info on them.

I would guess that he got to #1 because he beat #1. He beat Chris Cox, Vandalia, who was #1 at the time, and Cox got to #1 by winning Princeton. In a triangular between Prairie Central, Vandalia and Alton...Tyler Jones (Alton) beat Taylor, Taylor beat Cox, and Cox beat Jones. I think all of these wrestlers are very even and rankings don't mean anything when you step on the mat. All of this will be settled when they meet when it counts...in Champaign.

Luke Taylor did lose to Darren Olsen in the Orion Tournament finals. I believe it was 7 to 4
