He is a freshman this year who won the IKWF state tournament last year, but other than that all I can tell you is his mom and dad had a lot to do with it.

Blanton won the 6th grade and under National Open Championship at 125 lbs. in 2002. He took 4th in IKWF State at 130 lbs. in 2003 (lost to Albert White in semi's) wrestling for the Wrestling Factory. He won IKWF state at 156 lbs. wrestling for the Richmond Club last season. I think he will win Sectionals this weekend.

Pieritz hasnt attended school all week... Today was his first day in classes... What a wonderful time to catch the flu... We just hope he can compete to the best of his ability....

He obviously has to do it again but he did beat Graybill 6-1 about 2 weeks ago.
