Huskies Meet 11-3 Bobcats in DeKalb

The meet is scheduled to begin at 7:05 pm CST in the Convocation Center.
NIU will look to improve upon on its 1-2 dual meet record with a strong showing against the Bobcats. Although the Huskies are 1-2 overall, they are 1-0 in the MAC and their two losses came against nationally ranked Big-Ten opponents Wisconsin and Northwestern. NIU's last meet took place on Sunday Jan. 14, where they defeated UB by a score of 30-6 while losing only two matches en route to an impressive victory.
The Huskies look to build upon their strong showing against Buffalo in their upcoming match against the Bobcats with the help of a strong lineup of wrestlers. NIU's scheduled group of starters boasts eight wrestlers with winning records, including four nationally-ranked wrestlers in Mike Grimes, Johnny Galloway, Pat Castillo, and Duke Burk.
The premier match of the day will pit 10-1 Johnny Galloway, ranked as high as 10th nationally, against OU's Jacob Isen. Galloway is the top ranked wrestler in the 165-pound weight class in the MAC and Isen comes into the meet with a 22-7 record.
NIU's next meet will be on the road against Kent State on Friday, January 26th at 7:05 EST.
