SIUE Cougars are wrestling McKendree College at home Feb 8th at the Vadalabene Center beginning at 7:00pm. Admission is free. It is Senior Night with five seniors: Steve Chico, Jed Lewis, Joe Rujawitz, John Ficht and Sean Tyus being honored.
It is also SIUE wrestling alumni night honoring 22 alums that have or are currently coaching at the high school level. Coaches include: Eric Roberson, Alton Senior High; Maurice Brown, Belleville East High School; Al Sears, Belleville West High School; Dennis Ragan, Carbondale IL High School; Steve Bradley, Civic Memorial High School (retiring at the end of the season); Tom Blaha, Collinsville High School; Jon Wagner, Edwardsville High School; Glenn Exton, O'Fallon High School; Russ Witzig, Triad High School; Sam Parker, Lawrenceville IL High School; Russ Baum, Cahokia High School; Mark Kristoff, Collinsville High School; Kip Kristoff, Marion IL High School; Steve Garland, Belleville West High School; Mike Garland, Granite City High School; Bob Dahm, Belleville West High School Principal; Terry Mulrenin, Stagg High School IL; Steve Stearn, Burbank Reavis High School IL; Brian McTague, Morris IL High School; Dwight Downs, Lutheran High School of St. Charles County; Eric Morgan, University City High School; and Tim Wright, Cathedral High School Indianapolis. Wrestling begins at 7:00pm and the awards about 7:30pm for the coaches. The first 400 people get a free set of SIUE Wrestling Trading Cards.
