Slavery was here in the United States long before Columbus was even born. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slaver..._United_States

Even in the beginning on the east coast there were skirmishes and atrocities from both sides. Was it Roanoke where the population vanished without a trace? Humans can be very cruel animals. History is filled with winners and losers in the game of life...and death.

Apologizing for the sins committed by and to people our grand fathers never knew will only cause racial animosity. If we are supposed to feel guilt for crimes that we didn't commit then Kamala must really feel like sh*t for being a descendant of slave owners.

    • Few people expect Joe Biden to be an exceptional president, but at least he has a coherent plan to lead us to a post-COVID America. That’s what we have sorely need.

Getting pharma rivals Merck and Johnson & Johnson to work together on vaccine production = having a coherent plan to get us back to normal.

Setting a goal of a million vaccine shots a day = having a coherent plan to get us back to normal.

Revising that goal to two million vaccine shots a day = having a coherent plan to get us back to normal.

Directing states to make all adults eligible for vaccinations by May 1 = having a coherent plan to get us back to normal.

Deploying an additional 4,000 active-duty troops to support vaccination efforts = having a coherent plan to get us back to normal.

Calling for a nationwide website and phone bank to help people find an appointment (and avoid searching day and night for a shot) = having a coherent plan to get us back to normal.

Setting the goal of having small gatherings and barbecues on July 4 = having a coherent plan to get us back to normal.

These plans might not work out, but at least they exist and they have been communicated to the American people. That is something to appreciate.

Dude, you have no idea what your are talking about when you mention my "lot in life". My family and I are the embodiment of the American dream, which is why I pains me so much to see it damaged by Democratic policies. My parents came to this country, legally, to get away from a communist regime, with nothing but the clothes on their back. I came here at 6 years old with my 2 older brothers and learned to speak English with a foster family while my parents tried to establish themselves. My parents instilled in us that education was the way to succeed in this country, and it was always stressed to get a college degree and also learn a trade or profession. Funny thing was, my parents had no way of affording college for any of us. We were not financially well off. I ate peanut butter and apple jelly sandwiches for lunch every day up through 8th grade (so much for school lunch programs). My 2 older brothers and I helped my father deliver 700 newspapers from 4-6 a.m every morning for 3 years before school. I worked cleaning classrooms and bathrooms so I could attend a Catholic high school. I never had a steak until college. I cleaned dorms to help pay for college. Despite these limitations, my siblings and I followed my parents' advice and through hard work, student loans and scholarships all 6 of us received college degrees. All 6 of us also received post graduate degrees: 3 attorneys, 2 doctors and one Masters degree. I have lived, and am living, my best life with my wife of 41 years and my 4 adult sons. This is why I love this country and the opportunity it can provide to those who are willing to work hard, follow their dreams and sacrifice for it. That's also why I so adamantly oppose Democratic policies that seek to create a welfare state and undo our immigration laws under the guise of equity in place of equality.

Let's not forget who created the plan to have the vaccines developed at a much faster rate than ever before (operation warp speed). Trump wanted everyone vaccinated as soon as possible once the vaccines received emergency approval. He wanted schools to open up. He did not want long term lockdowns. He wanted states to get their economies going. Oh, if only he had set goals for the number of vaccine shots and limit on barbecues, then all would have been well. If only....

              • Trump bungled the COVID crisis from jump street from denying it was even in the country to mask mandates etc etc He couldn't have handled it any worse and because of his fragile ego and hubris he thought he could wish it away. Give me a break with this crap. This is why partisan politics is killing us if you really believe Trump didn't fail this country in this regard. It's always the do no good Democrats against the do no wrong Republicans.

COVID19 was the coherent plan. The release could have been intentional or unintentional, but the irrational and criminal reaction to a miniscule virus was the coherent plan to win the White House...but when that did not work, they still had to cheat. This virus came from a lab in Wuhan China that is funded by the United States, and has ties to Dr. Fauci. These facts may be disputed but as far as I know they are not.

It is sad that Governor Cuomo has to use a "bimbo eruption" to cover up his murderous nursing home scandal. Californians are not buying the COVID fraud either, Newsome is facing a recall vote now that the required number of signatures have been gathered. With any luck Whitmer in Michigan will be next.

When normalcy is defined by politicians in both parties prioritizing a corporate global agenda...count me as a vote against getting back to normal. The Democrat party was destroyed in this election they took four seats in the Senate, and they took the White House...they lost in every other category and your most powerful Governors are having to fight serious calls to resign or be recalled.

When normalcy is having a president with diminished mental capacity that is having a hard time remembering getting paid a billion and a half from the adversarial nation of Communist China...and sends his son to be the bag man in Ukraine and Russia...and sends his brother to be the bag man in Iraq...do we know if there is a country that Biden hasn't taken money from? Biden is bought and paid for..our enemies own him, and it doesn't appear that he has forgotten that yet...well...that's our normal now, but don't get too comfortable with it.

COVID was a fraud perpetuated on this country...it was a manufactured crisis with political motivations. Any large scale effort was over kill, but with that being said, no President or world leader in the history of the world has ever had a response to a pandemic that was even one tenth of one percent of the size and scope of Trumps massive response to a miniscule problem.

                        • Here is a fun fact.

A report which just out from the University of Illinois has some nasty things to say about their home state. Not only is Chicago the single most corrupt city in America, the state of Illinois is ranked as the third most dishonest state in the country. Conservatives aren’t surprised one bit.

To come to that conclusion, the college relied on data from the justice department, which looked at convictions of public officials from 1976 to 2019

See at least Huff and I are real. Yes, Illinois has a long history of corruption, Chicago included. Yes that’s right, the Democratic Party in Illinois corrupt as hell. Illinois has had more governors in jail, impeached, and connected to the outfit, than any other state in the nation. My favorite story is this one dude that dropped dead in a hotel room in Springfield or some thing and they found a shoebox full of money. It was something like $30,000 and I was kind of like well that’s not that bad. Maybe he was playing the ponies. But no, the salary at the time with something like 1500. We admit the stuff. Trump downplayed the pandemic because of one reason only, the stock market. Now that we are getting things under control, I can even tell everyone is buying in. I just stopped at an Irish deli to pick up some corn beef and there was a lot of people in there. Everyone was wearing a mask. No shame. Trump supporters felt their white superiority, oops I mean their American superiority, somehow made them immune from the virus. I’m not trying to gloat man but I had this thing figured out for the beginning. Trump is so easy to read I actually would play him in poker and clean him out. If you listen to his phone calls even the most recent one from Georgia, he does everything but come right out and say, “look dig up some fraud and bail me out please I am desperate.”
