i am a fan of the dardanes and OPRF wrestling team but everyone is bitching about the dardanes twins and their time in the spotlight because they are all state calibur wrestlers transferring to an all state championship calibur team in OPRF. would there still be a buzz if they transferred to a chicago public league team, probably but not as much hype because their team wouldnt be that good i bet.
If it were not an advantage, why would so many people pay for it?
I hope no one believes that I am flaming anyone (well... except maybe Matador, but he can take it).
I am FOR the choice to send kids to private school. I do NOT think it is wrong that private schools tend to be dominant (though I DO get tired of the Montini cheerleader crowd). I AGREE that public schools CAN compete, though more things have to fall in place for that to happen (including maybe an opportune transfer or two). I DO not think we need a separate private school class.

Using your logic, public schools must have an advantage since more students attend there.
i have seen all of these posts, bottom line is if you want your kid to get a great education ,the best schedule, best coaching --get on the waiting list at MONTINI CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL,THEY ARE EXPANDING AS I SPEAK ,------GO BRONCOS

I dont doubt any of those comments, but based on your syntax you did not benefit from that outstanding education aspect that you speak so highly of.

The cost of these catholic schools are very extreme
I am a fan of Montini, but being honest (from experience) it is not at all a superior education than that of a suburban public school (generally speaking). Many people that attend go there for the religion classes, catholic school structure, sports, or other reasons.
