    He wouldn't do that

Nicholas has to worrry about his own fate. He is not the type to play any strategies with his own wins or losses, who would?

Let's cut Klimara a break, but I curious what the score was prior to the pin.

I just felt like I needed to say this...I don't know Eddie Klamara, but have heard nothing but good about him, and wish him all the best. If I sounded a little on the excited side, and I'm sure I did, it's just that I've known the Drendels for a few years now...Good luck to both wrestlers.

        Montini

This is for all of those in 3A. I don't I'm the only one who feels this way, and I want to make it clear that this does not apply to all Montini fans. I do not understand what many of the Montini fans are thinking when they blog on here. Eddie Klimara is a phenomenal wrestler. I am a Hononegah alumn so this is not a Providence fan talking. The credit goes to Drendel. He caught Klimara and wrestled the better match in the end. The terrible part is that the Montini fans believe that Montini would have been a better place for him. No one can disrespect Eddie or Providence like that. Eddie is only a freshman we all must remember. He made a mistake, so what, he is young. He has three years to improve and show his greatness. Providence was not at fault for his loss; Montini would not have had an impact in the situation on Eddie. It is ridiculous and terrible to make such a claim.
Also, I am tired of seeing many Montini fans come on the 3A forum and talk down the 3A teams and/or wrestlers. People cannot deny that Montini is good. Opinions are acceptable. But disrespect against teams or especially high school kids is just ignorant.
I hope many Montini fans read this and take this message to heart; if you can't respect the 3A teams and wrestlers then stick to the 2A forum where your team actually exists.

PS I hope that Drendel wins and Klimara has another shot. We all know that if he gets a second chance, his remaining matches will be wrestled out of both anger and determination. He deserves to show us all how good he is.

Oh I know who Nicolas is. Of course he is wrestling. It's the only way to go. Wrestle your way into the state tournament. That applies to anyone.

As far as a potential gl interview even that is a strech for me...

Eddie was up 9-2 before going to his back.

                        Klimara/Drendal score

Didn't Drendel throw Klimara on his back twice, the last being the pin? If correct, then the score would have been different than 9-2. I might be wrong...

That would be correct. Probably 9-5 at that point.

Here's the way it was told to me.

Drendel was getting beat 9-3. Klimara could not do anything with him on top so he let Drendel up. Klimara shot. Drendel had a whizzer. Klimara got in deep. Instead of continuing to fight the whizzer or give up the takedown, Drendel hit a beautiful cross face headlock the other way and tossed Klimara to his back. That made the score 9-8. Klimara got out and came out front facing Drendel trying to score a reversal. Drendel hipped in and grabbed the chin and put him back to his back for the pin.

I sure do! It's just a shame it doesn't take place in the finals, oh well, such is wrestling. And I may be biased, but two great, hard working kids, it's hard to not pull for both of them.

sounds alot like how his teammate, Josh Zinzer, would have done things.
