Again, no disrespect intended. It was the most talked about match of the weekend and definitely news worthy. No one complained when the Roth/White match hit the home page. I don't see how this is any different.

There is one difference, White didn't get pinned...er...I guess caught is the word these guys prefer to use.

On a side note, can you still use the word caught when it happens twice in one match? How about three times? Can you get caught three times to make a tech? Just curious.

i cant believe there is a post like this to be honest. There are so many parents that cry about every little thing. I agree that posting the video is one of the most respectful things towards eddie. It shows that he is 'THE BEST" 103 pounder and someone beating him is a huge deal. I would ve loved if everytime i lost they showed it on matman because then i would know that there was a giant target on my back and everyone was setting thier sights at beating me. And thats exactly how it is for eddie. like everyone else has said it will just fuel him to want to demolish drendel next time they wrestle. Stop being little babies and protecting your kids. Let them learn some lessons in life the hard way and they will be better men for it.

We need more high profile matches highlighted on ILLINOIS MATMEN. I use the Multimedia link to watch great matches. I am sure wrestlers would love to have their matches posted here.

You know what, we better call James Oliva and tell him not to tape the finals this year, just in case there is a fall. We don't want people to see it and have it on tape, it might make the wrestler who got pinned feel bad. Besides that, let's start giving brackets out to all the wrestlers who make state, and better yet, let's get small trophies for all the kids who make sectionals from now on. And let's not forget the medals, we should give medals to every kid who comes out for wrestling at the beginning of the season. Just more of the sissification of athletics and society.

Take the purses off. We are developing young men, young warriors who are molded and carved by the adversity and trials that they face in life. So Klimara got pinned at sectionals, so what. It's a loss that every high profile wrestler will face and probably have shown on flowrestling or you tube or on Illinois matmen. It is a good trial that i'm sure Klimara will use to fuel him to the state championship this weekend. And if and when he does win state, either this year or in the next three, do you think he will care if there is a video of one of his losses to go next to the fifty videos of his destruction of another young wrestler who came across his path.......NO. He will probably laugh and be thankful for the loss that propelled him on to greater things in his career. We learn more from the losses than the wins. Should we take down all the videos of him taking apart other wrestlers........NO.

Cut the cord, he'll be fine, actually I'm sure he'll be more than fine after Saturday.

Solid Post, well done. I am sure Providence coaches aren't hugging Klimara right now. That is a rock solid program that is tough to the bone and they will put it past them. This kid will be ready to go this weekend and I am sure he will stay in better position this time around.

how is that disrespectful to kilmara. If drendal afterwards forefitted his next match that wouldve been more disrecpectful. He didnt do that so he did nothing to disrespect eddie. I feel terible for Nick he did something good and hes getting alot of negative attention for beating someone who is "better"on paper.
