    Joey Gosinski-119 GN

Joey is at Glenbard North. I cannot speculate on anyone else until we see how much they will grow this off season. Should be a fun year though!

You've got some great wrestlers on your list, but the weights will be way off............

Wow, he said that he is just keeping them at the weight they wrestled last year. Big mac knows that kids are going to move to different weight classes, but no one knows to which ones so it is easier to put them at the ones they wrestled at the previous year.

            Nice discussion Starter....
            Correction:
285 Andrew Ellington is Edwardsville's HWT

            ------

Minooka's HWT is Cody Jones who beat your #3 Laquan Hightower in the Dual Team state Finals 3-0. & pinned your #4 Carl Williams of Fox Lake Grant in the Dual State Quarters.

Why we are at... it looks like Hightower Pinned #1 Ellington in the Dual State Semi-Finals.

Your #6 Lavelle Howard was 3-0 vs Cody Jones last season.

Another HWT Name....Jeremy Howell of Moline he beat Cody Jones 3-1 at Geneseo and Pinned him in the Quarters of Sectionals. He Missed state by losing to PUGH (2nd) and Tetlow(lockport).

              119

I expect 119,125,130 to be super tough weight class this year. Not gonna give the breakdown of whois where, have a pretty goodidea onmost, so I chose these three weight classes, stacked!

Great call on Jeremy Howell! He will be in the mix. Don't forget Casey Gushleff from Granite City. He's going to be tough this year. Team Pulver sources have Hightower looking at 215. Any 215's making the move to heavy weight???

Nice call on Gushleff too. He Beat #6 Lavelle Howard in the Sectional Quarters 5-4. Gushleff only lost to Pugh 1-0 at Geneseo taking 4th to Pugh, Howell, & Jones. Lost close match to Ellington in the wrestlebacks of Sectionals.

HWT is such a crap shoot. Last years results play out that any of these guys Howard, Ellington, Gushleff, Howell, Jones could win on any given day.

also, i could see hightower dropping to 215 because last year he HAD to go HWT because Monson originally had the 215 spot. i dont know if hightower plays football or what, and im sure he could get even bigger, but i see him being a dominant 215 next year.

                    ...just my thoughts

honestly thanks for all the insight I will admit I really didn't follow wrestling during the team state series not that I didn't want to but that's becomes family time next and thanks for the corrections at hwt when I was going thru the regionals and sectionals (thanks matmen) I noticed a bunch of thirty almost 40 match winners that didn't make it out next years heavyweight class might be the best Illinois has had in awhile...

Not the best but maybe the most even in a while.

I have seen all these guys in several matches.

                            -189-

-Fahler (DeerF) Got cought at State with a big lead (171). I think he beats Washington then see's Damiani, top 8 in a brutal weight class 09.

                            -Campos (Batavia)
                            -Ward (Geneva)
Both jammed up in a tough Reg. If they can Qualify watch out.

-Bruder (Moline) Off the radar last season. Has had 3 solid seasons.

I know he is not a 3A returnee, but I am going throw Jake Gregerson name out there because I hear that he is going to Granite.
