So, Montini has the type of administration that will hire someone like Izzy, but won't let him move up to AAA?

The coaches and parents and wrestlers want to petition up......but their administration just like the coaches at CS and GBN are hanging onto to some feeble outdated thinking.

If I were some of these Montini parents I would let the administration know in no uncertain terms that nobody cares how the administration may look because of a position they took YEARS AGO! Its dumb, and if the admin is more concerned about how they may be viewed then I may spend my $10,000 elsewhere.

Again, theres soooo much dumbness to go around between Hahn and Polz and the Montini administrators.

You all know what I mean. And I'm not judging him at all for it. I think he's cool as hell and does a great job. But most administrators certainly do judge your entire life's body of work when you apply for a job.

The Montini parents really don't even talk about being in 2A or 3A. None of them really care. It is everyone else that does. From a wrestling perspective, the Montini parents just want their kids to have an opportunity to wrestle a great schedule and succeed. Rarely, if ever, do they talk about moving up to 3A.

If Montini had any interest whatsover in wrestling AAA schools, then they have the chance to petition up. They have made it abundantly clear that they are not up to the challenge.

Figures that would be a statement from someone who has "from your moms bedroom" in his title. Your maturity and credibility is superior-congratulations! The reasons for the administrative decision to remain where the IHSA classifies the wrestling team has been explained in great legal detail on this board over and over, and obviously you haven't paid attention because you are to busy coming up with clever titles and such. Montini clearly is up to the challenge of wrestling anybody in a dual during the season. I congratulate teams like Marist, Oak Park, St Rita, Providence, Wilmington, Mt Carmel, Bloomington, who all over the years have all been state ranked teams in their respective classes, and have all dualed Montini and other top teams without fear, year in and yeaR out. So I guess this is the part where I try to come up with something clever to out do your "Mothers Bedroom" clever insult, so here it goes-your mother wears combat boots! Oh well I guess I'm not nearly as clever as you are, or able to match your incredible wit-DARN IT!

I never said the victories are pointless, just the chest thumping because there is no reward for them except on the internet.. I am just saying the ULTIMATE trophy is the one's you see going into the Montini gym - the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP ones. They hold more value then the Dvorak or the Whitlach ones. I have not seen those in the trophy case at Montini...but maybe I missed them....

Now don't get me wrong...my son's Dvorak championship board is nice but he would rather have a state championship one and it is no where near as important as the NCAA one.

You missed them. They are in the trophy case by the field house right under the 9 state championship photos (soon to be 10).
