Gomez, Duncan win titles; Cadet freestyle team wins by 30

With 20 All-Americans – just one fewer than in Greco – and 88 points, Illinois made it a sweep of the Cadet Nationals at Fargo, adding the freestyle title to the Greco-Roman title it won Monday.

Austin Gomez (113) completed his run to a double title, leading nine double All-Americans, and Dylan Duncan (120) also won.

Pennsylvania finished a distant second with 58 points, followed by Ohio (51). Indiana had three champions, the only state besides Illinois with more than one.

Other double champions: Nicolas Aguilar (94) of California, Roman Bravo-Young (100) of Arizona, Ethan Karsten (138) of Missouri, Beau Breske (170) of Wisconsin, Keegan Moore (182) of Minnesota and Matt Stencel (195) of Ohio.
