Top 15 Ref Lists

Top 15 ref lists were reset for all Wrestling Coaches, and are due right around the corner. Who are some of the good ones out there.

Dave Mathews, miss his sense of humor, after all, why not have fun.
Tom Heniff , Just classic.
Mike Makoviac, very definitive on his calls. And I am not just saying that cuz he wrestled with Bulldogs!
Brooks #1, You are going to see a lot of calls today. You might love some of them or hate them, but you are going to have to learn to live with both of them!

Also Kenny Watkins who wrestled at Argo back in the day..
Wilke!!! Always called a great match.
And now I am off the script. I could not STAND Proviso West stiffing the refs. Talk about a tough job, for very little appreciation. My favorite is the State Finals when they introduce the refs.. My inside sources tell me whoever gets the most booos, gets a free dinner, anywhere they want. I want to be at THAT dinner!

I would put Rob Zielinsky and Jon Shaus on that top 15 list.

Jason Salley, hands down. From Folkstyle to Freestyle & Greco, he's the best.

Heartily agree.

Mike Mackowiak, Rich Vine and Dave Holler all do a terrific job for us.

I always appreciate when someone is willing to take the time to explain why something is the way it is.

Thanks to you, and all who dedicate the time and effort.

The best refs are the ones you’re not talking about after the match.

Only two officials I've ever had major gripes with that I spoke negatively about afterwards. I do a fair amount talking positively about the rest. It's good to know everyone's nuances.

The bad reviews?

Their fault.

If I know the rules better than you that's bad.

If you are unwilling to even consider you might be wrong then you better be right.
