Another stud from Illinois headed out of state.

Congrats to Hayden, another small town local favorite goes D1. All of his hard work is paying off. So happy for Hayden, his family and coaches. I know his youth coach Vince Chambliss is SUPER proud of him. https://www.flowrestling.org/article...stud-to-commit

This can't be a surprise. Illinois targeted Luffman, who by the way beat Copass at regionals. sectionals and STATE for Hayden's 3 losses last year. He had to look elsewhere if he wanted a shot at starting for 3 or even 4 years. It will be interesting which one has the better college career.

No surprise for sure, both are great kids with bright futures. Kind of crazy that the top two in the state last year were not only south of I80 but only 20-30 miles apart. Decent chance they will meet again in their college careers? One can only hope. Congrats to both of them!

Obviously Illinois can’t keep every great kid that comes from this state but it is nice to see him get a shot at a collegiate career regardless of where he goes!
