Iíve seen so many of these guys at IKWF tournaments. It makes the South Chicago sectional for IK not nearly as loaded as it may seem.

Best of luck to all the wrestlers competing this weekend See You in DeKalb!!!
Makes sense. Lots of kids in LeRoy at different weights and some kids saying they were dropping after that meet. Always fun seeing them. Thanks

IESA has been on a steady incline. Both with numbers and talent

I agree. Without a lot of these kids in the IKWF state dual lineups, the teams donít make it.

Unfortunately number one ranked Cam French, from Mattoon was not cleared by doctors to be able to wrestle in the tournament. He had injured his elbow a few weeks ago, too bad for a great young man who put in so much hard work this year to be able to stand on top of the podium!

Curious why you'd put Mancilla (6th @126# 2019) over Blackburn (1st @135# 2019)?

I believe Mancilla beat Blackburn in a tourney this year. The results were either on The Wrestling Tourney or Track.

Interesting...Blackburn is out of my regional and I didn't look at his record on the bracket.
Thanks.

I disagree with both of these statements. I've seen some stellar wrestling in IESA this season. Been to some of the bigger IKWF meets this year and wrestled in the Rantoul regional yesterday...what a joke. Less than 8 kids in virtually every Senior bracket with most having 4 our less. Virtually all the IESA wrestlers that I know have won their IKWF brackets at every tournament they went to.

From what I heard, Springfield was similar for their numbers as well. I'm presuming the northern regionals would have better participation.
