A while back there was a women who's kid wrestled for Neuqua Valley soon after Neuqua opened up. I think they moved here from Ohio or something. She would whoop through the whole match, and you could literraly hear her above the throng all the way across the Assembly Hall. I would hate to have been sitting near her!

Garringers dad is intense, but he's a good guy to chat with. I love seeing a ref call him out when he's in the bleaches telling him to pipe down. A few years ago I remember a lady at state constantly yelling, "Get him Johnny, Jesus is with you...Jesus is with you Johnny" Her son was losing the match like 10-3 or something and obviously Jesus was taking a break, but she didn't stop yelling that. Robert Casey's dad was a nut (Bolingbrook) escorted out IESA state in Jr. High after Rob lost. Rob however is a really nice guy as I've recently gotten to know him better. There is a kid Mark Johnson for Joliet, really tough kid...his dad may be the worst ever. He screams like a mad man always and then freaks out on his kids when they lose, he was also escorted out of kids state. I feel bad for the kids because they seem nice.

How about something a little more recent....

This past weekend at East Aurora Regional. West Aurora parent...started at 103 and was in top form for every WA wrestler in the place matches. It was quite impressive. Don't know how his voice lasted at that volume all that time considering I think they had all their guys in the place matches!

From earlier days...Battaglia's Mom was hilarious to watch. Usually much more entertaining than the match. Depending on the outcome, she was either exhausted at the end or had to keep walking around for 10 minutes to calm down! Haven't seen a Battaglia match in awhile so I wonder if she's still as into it?

Angry Definately Kulls father

Being a mom at wrestling matches, Austin Kulls dad calling the other wrestlers female body parts rings the psycho bell. It just makes me wish that the proverbial cane would circle in and pull him out of the meet. I'm sure he thinks that by screaming to his son that the other wrestler is this or that female body part is making him tougher, but I just don't think so. I always tell my son to just keep quiet and let the other guy prove he's an asp.

I have seen him just walk into the middle of the mat, yelling at the ref, like he owns the place. This was last year at Freestyle State.
