2026–27 IKWF Intermediate Girls Season Preview
By Illinois Matwomen | November 5, 2026
The last time Swayze Campbell and Zoey Willis met at the IKWF state tournament, Willis was one win from the final. Campbell beat her in the 2025 Bantam 50 semifinal and went on to win the title. A year later, in different brackets, both girls left state as champions. Now they open the season first and second at Intermediate 62. Willis begins her first Intermediate season with a Bantam title of her own.
One weight below them, Swayze’s twin sister Maleya leads the field at 57. Each Campbell has won an IKWF title three years running. At the other end of the lineup, Raya Windham needed a total of five minutes and 16 seconds to pin four opponents at the Brian Keck Memorial Preseason Nationals on November 1.
