ILLINOIS TAKES THE MAT AT SUPER 32
State champions, national medalists and emerging talent head to Greensboro
Illinois will have familiar names and a new generation of talent on the mats when the 2026 Super 32 Challenge comes to Greensboro, North Carolina, October 24–25. The women’s freestyle division competes Sunday, October 25, bringing together wrestlers from across the country before the high school winter season begins.
Among the Illinois entries are three-time IHSA champion Angelina Gochis, returning state finalists, Fargo All-Americans and a freshman with an IKWF championship already on her record. Their accomplishments span youth wrestling, the high school postseason and national competition.
The ten wrestlers introduced here cover seven registered weight classes, from Kali DeClercq at 100 pounds to Jasmine Enriquez at 200. Six are seniors, two are sophomores, one is a junior and one is a freshman. Each brings her own history to a weekend that puts Illinois wrestling on a national stage.
